Know The Consequences

If you plead guilty or are found guilty of Driving While Suspended, you will face serious consequences such as eight (8) points on your driver's record, a fine of up to ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00), and suspension of your driving privileges between ninety (90) and two (2) years.

If you were previously convicted of Driving While Suspended and think you are facing just a slap on the wrist, think again.  The consequences of Driving While Suspended within ten (10) years of a prior similar infraction include imprisonment for a fixed term of up to one (1) year, eight (8) points on your driver record, a fine of up to five thousand dollars ($5,000.00), and suspension of your driving privileges between ninety (90) days and two (2) years.
